Ocean State XC Invitational
Notes from Coach: It was a pretty amazing day. The weather was what I would call, "Cross Country Perfect." Raining, muddy, foggy, 60 degrees. It made me want to get out and run myself. I actually worked up a pretty good sweat trying to get to see the runners at several points along the course.
The course was almost completely flat. This was good for us. The mud along the course had very little impact on the actual times...15-30 seconds at most. It was mostly annoying and mentally challenging.
Between the tent and the sweat shirts, we looked like a real cross country team.
About the race...More commentary to follow soon.
